How To Find Your TikTok Sound Link

A TikTok sound is an excerpt of a song or other piece of audio available on the TikTok platform.

If it's a song, a distributor probably added the sound to TikTok. If it's a voice or other piece of audio, the sound was probably recorded directly into the TikTok video or added by a TikTok user who uploaded it from their phone's storage when creating a video in the TikTok app.

The easiest way: paste a video link

If any TikTok video already uses your sound — for example your own — you don’t need to find the sound link at all. Just paste the video’s link and we’ll grab the sound from it automatically:

1. Open the video in the TikTok app (or on tiktok.com)
2. Tap the “share” button and choose “copy link”
3. Paste the link into the campaign tool. Done!

Both the short share links (vm.tiktok.com / vt.tiktok.com) and full video links work.

If your sound is available on TikTok

If your sound is available on TikTok, you can try to search for the name of the sound or the artist in the search bar in our campaign tool. Note that not all sounds can be found by our search tool, even though they’re available on TikTok.

If you don’t have a video to copy from and can’t find the sound in our search, you can copy the sound link from the TikTok platform and add it to your campaign. See the steps below on how to get your TikTok sound link:

1. Open the TikTok app and navigate to the search area
2. Search for the artist and/or song name you wish to promote
3. After search results appear, go to the Sounds tab and open your desired sound
4. Tap the “share” button in the top right corner and then choose “copy link”

1. Make sure the sound has been used in a TikTok video
2. Navigate to the specific video at tiktok.com and tap the sound in the right sidebar
3. This will bring you to the sound page which has an web address in this format: https://www.tiktok.com/music/sound-name-1234567890
4. Copy the address. Done!

If your sound is not available on TikTok

If you can’t find your sound anywhere, it probably needs to be added to TikTok.
